Where does SpeakMind work?

SpeakMind is built for Mac and works in compatible text fields. Some apps require clipboard insertion. App-specific rules help adapt tone and output language. The current app targets macOS 15 or later.

What happens to my recordings?

Cloud modes send audio and text to AI providers. On-device Mode offers local processing where supported, with different capabilities. The app gives you controls for recording, history retention, and keeping audio. Read the privacy policy.

Can I use more than one language?

The app offers seven explicit dictation languages and automatic detection. The Translate mode shown here turns Chinese speech into English and appears when Chinese is one of your dictation languages.

Which features are included in Pro?

Pro includes everything in Free, removes the weekly word cap, and adds Developer and Agent Prompt. Choose $12/month or $95.99/year. Lifetime includes Pro access for a one-time $299 payment. Fair-use and service limits apply. Compare the plans.

How does the free trial work?

Verify your email in the app, and your 14-day Pro trial starts the first time you use cloud dictation on that Mac. One trial per Mac, no credit card required. The trial includes up to 50,000 words per week. After it ends, Free provides 2,000 words per week unless you purchase a paid plan. Viewing this page does not start a trial.

How do I manage my subscription?

Sign in to your account and choose Manage subscription & billing to open Stripe’s secure portal. You can review invoices, update your payment method, and manage renewal. You can also open billing from the Mac app. Pro renews until canceled; Lifetime is a one-time purchase.

Is this page recording my voice?

No. All examples on this website are scripted demonstrations. Nothing is recorded, inserted into another app, or submitted to an AI model when you try them.

How do I get early access?
