By downloading or using SpeakMind ("the app"), you agree to these terms.
1. License
SpeakMind, operated by Kanverse APP, grants you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the app on Macs you own or control, subject to these terms and your plan.
2. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans (e.g. Pro) are billed through Stripe on the cycle shown at checkout (monthly or annual) and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Free usage is subject to the limits shown in the app and may change.
- Subscriptions are non‑refundable. You can cancel any time to stop future renewals, and access continues to the end of the paid period. (Pro includes a 14‑day free trial, so you can try it before you're charged.)
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse‑engineer or resell the app except as allowed by law; abuse, overload, or attempt to bypass the usage quotas or backend; or use the app for unlawful purposes.
4. Your content
You retain all rights to what you dictate. You are responsible for the content you create with the app. Processing of your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Third‑party services
The app relies on third‑party providers (OpenAI, Cerebras, Volcengine, Stripe, Supabase). Their availability and terms are outside our control.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kanverse APP is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.
7. Changes & termination
We may update the app and these terms; continued use means acceptance. We may suspend access for breach of these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
